Our journey to find a new home started as a very casual experience with Heather sending us certain listings here and there to see if anything sparked our interest. The homes were nice, but just not "the one." We had a pretty long list of "must haves" and since this was going to be our forever home, we were being extremely picky. We were not an easy sale and were not extremely eager to move, however, Heather continued to be patient and not pushy in our process to find the right one for us. After years of searching, we finally found a home that we were excited about. Since we were a home contingency sale, behind the scenes, Heather was also reaching out and helping us to prepare our home to be able to quickly list it without creating more stress for when "the one" came along. She helped set up a time when she could come in and get photos taken, and was very meticulous on staging the house to get the best outcome for photos. Heather was also very great to work with in helping us navigate negotiations and things to look for and things that might cause headaches down the road. When it came time to sell our home, Heather had it listed with photos and open houses scheduled within the hour of signing our initial contract. We had multiple offers over asking after the open houses that she, herself, conducted. It was a whirlwind purchase and sale, and she was there every step of the way. My Fiancée and I had the absolute pleasure of meeting Heather Prowell at an open house on a day where we attended about 4 open houses. First impressions are important, and hers stuck with us the most. We contacted her at first to get an idea of where the housing market was in our area and what were our chances to sell successfully, and she showed up with a binder with all the information we needed and more, examples of similar houses sold in our area, and everything we needed to know to make a safe and successful sale. After that day we knew she was the one to list our house. She guided us through the process and was there for us every step of the way. She hired a stager to come to our house and advise us on how to place the furniture and what to put in storage to make sure we showed the house in tip top shape. She then hired an amazing photographer for the indoor pictures that truly took our breath away, and then a specialized drone photographer who captured the beauty of our outdoors from every angle. I had the great fortune of meeting Heather at an open house when I was just getting started on my home search. When we crossed paths again a few weeks later at another open house, it seemed like fate. We are extremely pleased with Heather’s performance both (1) in finding a home for us when we were looking for a house to move into, and (2) in selling the house in which we had lived 45 years. Heather is a professional, experienced realtor. She is a very pleasant person, easy to work with. She was proactive in giving us important information about comparative house prices and also suggested improvements that we could/should make so the house we had for sale would be more appealing to prospective buyers. She made suggestions, but left the final decision regarding any action up to us. Improvements cost money and we weighed the cost versus the benefits of taking any action. Heather quickly responded whenever we attempted to communicate with her – whether she was at work, at home or on vacation. It seemed as if she was on duty all the time! We lived quite a distance (35 minutes drive) from the house we were selling. On several occasions when a “showing” was scheduled, Heather went to our house before showing time and made sure the lights were on, shades were open and the heat/air was properly adjusted for the comfort of viewers. I met Heather at an open house in the area and she instantly impressed me with professional manner and helpful information regarding the private market of homes. She was very quick to send us new listings and set up appointments and I felt like she was always looking for homes that would fit my family's specific needs on things I had never even considered.
